Within the Council of Europe, which deals with human rights, education, youth, social questions and legal affairs in 47 countries in Europe, there is a sector devoted to Health Policies.
In the Health Sector there is the Committee of Experts in Blood Transfusion and Immunohaematology (SP-HM) created in 1962.
