Vision and Strategy

To achieve the ISBT vision: 'Facilitating knowledge about transfusion medicine to serve the interests of donors and patients' a future focused strategy is needed. The ISBT 2009-2012 strategic plan has been formulated and includes the goals of:

Expanding the Scientific Profile of ISBT.
Developing a portfolio of high quality effective communication channels.
Positioning ISBT as a global leader in Transfusion Medicine Education.
Developing a High Standard of Corporate Governance.
Strengthening the ISBT Congresses.
