Fundamentals of Good Grant Writing Workshop

The workshop will be hosted by Imelda Bates. Imelda is Professor in Clinical Tropical Haematology at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) in the UK. Imelda is a member of LSTM’s Learning and Teaching Committee. She is Course Director for the innovative and highly successful Diploma in Project Design and Management which was established in Ghana in 2003 to increase multi-disciplinary institutional research capacity. She also teaches on many of LSTM’s on-site courses including Diploma and Masters programmes and the Consultancy course. She has supervised many successful PhD and Masters students. 

The workshop will be held on Monday, June 24, at 8:30-10:00.

 

 

Workshop on How to Improve Your Scientific Writing

The workshop will be hosted by Bob van der Laaken. Bob works at the Delft University of Technology where he is head of the English department. Bob teaches Academic Skills, Intercultural Communication and English as a Foreign Language and he is co-author of the book Presentation Techniques. 

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 25, at 8:30-10:00

 

 

Present your research idea to a panel of experts

The workshop will be hosted by Henrik Ullum and a small panel of experts. 

Those who are selected will have the possibility to present their research ideas to the panel in 5 minutes. After the presentation the expert panel will give tips and suggestions. If you would like to attend this workshop, please complete the application form and send it to science@remove-this.isbtweb.org. The application deadline is now extended until May 31, 2019, 23:59 CEST.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 26, from 8:30-10:00.
