ISBT2020 Attendance certificate

You will receive an email early next week with a short feedback questionnaire leading to an attendance certificate on completion.

EBAH CME points

For every hour of scientific content watched on the platform you will be eligible for 1 EBAH CME point. If you are already registered with EBAH the points will be automatically added to your account. If not registered with EBAH you can register at https://ebah.org/ and create a CME account.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

How can I access the ISBT2020 platform?
All participants who registered before Thursday, 10 December, receive their login instructions on that day. You can still register at any time and after processing your online ISBT2020 registration, you automatically receive a confirmation email.Your login instructions will be sent in a separate email.

You have two ways to access the ISBT2020 platform:

  • via your personalized link (automatic login)
  • via the general link to the ISBT2020 platform (login required)

Both the personalized link and the login details (username and password) are provided in the email with your login instructions. Please note that access will only be provided once full payment of your registration fee has been received.

When can I activate my access?
As of Thursday, 10 December you can access the ISBT2020 platform to activate your profile.

When will the content be available to view?
As of Saturday, 12 December, 07:30 AM CET you can log in and explore the virtual congress platform. (If you are not located in Europe, please convert to your local time here.)

Is the access code case-sensitive?
Yes, you must enter the password exactly as it was provided. We advise that you copy-paste the password and to make sure that there are no ‘spaces’ before or after password in the field.

I did not receive my login instructions, what do I do?
The personalized login instructions were sent by email on Thursday, 10 December to all registered and paid participants. If you did not receive the email with your login information, there are a few possible reasons:

  • Check your spam folder: It is possible that the email with your personalized login instructions was received in your spam folder. Kindly check the folder for our emails from isbtregistration@remove-this.mci-group.com with the subject “Your log in details for ISBT2020!”.
     
  • Check your payment status: The login instructions were only sent to participants who paid their registration fee in full. If you have not yet processed your payment or you have any questions regarding your payment status, please contact the Congress Secretariat via isbtregistration@remove-this.mci-group.com
     
  • Check with the person who processed your registration: In case you did not process the registration yourself, please check with the person who registered you (for example a group leader or an assistant). The login instructions were sent to the email address provided during the registration, so it might be that the information was send to the email address of the person who processed the registration on your behalf. Please contact this person to check if they have received the instructions.

If you still could not locate your login instructions, you can reach the Congress Secretariat via email.

My access is not working, what do I do?
You have two ways of activating your profile at the first login:

  • via your personalized link: Please click on the link in the email or copy-paste the full link into your preferred browser. The personalized link requires no additional login, you are automatically logged in when using this link.
  • via the general link to the ISBT2020 platform: Here you need to login with the username and password as stated in the email. Please copy-paste the password exactly as it is stated in the email, the password is case-sensitive and must be entered without a space before or after the code.

If you still have difficulties activating your profile, please contact our team via email.

I am part of a group and someone else has booked my registration, how should I proceed?
For group registrations the confirmation email and instruction have been sent to the email addresses provided in the registration. If you have not received this communication in your inbox, please check your spam box first. If you cannot find our communication there, please do contact your group leader, he/she will need to get in contact with our team.
How many times can I view the sessions?
Once you have successfully activated your profile you can return to view the recordings at any time and view sessions as many times as you want until 31 March 2021.

How long will I have access to the ISBT2020 platform?

Following the congress, all sessions will be available on the congress platform for delegates to watch on demand until 31 March 2021.

Where can I find the full programme?
The full programme is available on the ISBT website. Use the “Category” filter on top of the programme to scroll through live sessions, on demand sessions or ePosters.

Can I earn CME points by attending ISBT2020?
Yes, the ISBT2020 virtual congress is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH). Participants will earn credits for each of the educational sessions viewed on the ISBT2020 platform. A certificate of attendance will be sent after the congress showing the number of credits according to the sessions viewed.

What can I expect from ISBT2020?
The ISBT2020 virtual congress is an innovative learning experience hosted entirely online. It will allow attendees to browse through all activities (live and on-demand sessions, ePosters, sponsored sessions, etc.) with presentations from worldwide experts in their field.

Will all abstracts be available on the platform?
Yes, all abstracts, oral presentations and poster presentations, are available on the platform.

Will the live sessions be recorded?
Yes, all live sessions will be recorded and within the following days they will be made available on the platform for on-demand viewing.

What if I would like to join, but I am not available on the congress dates?
All sessions and educational content will be available online for registered participants until 31 March 2021.

Will there be a virtual exhibition?
Yes, there will be a virtual exhibition. The official opening hours of the exhibition are from 09.00 – 17.00 CET on the official congress days (12 – 16 December).

Will my data be shared with sponsors and exhibitors?
Your data will only be shared if you actively click on sponsored content or visit a virtual booth. Sponsored content can be recognized by a sponsor name or logo. Please note everything on the platform is “clickable”, therefore, if you click on content or a logo your data will be shared with that specific sponsor or exhibitor.

How can I find a sponsor or exhibitor?
On the platform, you can visit the exhibition floorplan. Here a full overview of all sponsors can be found.

How can I interact with sponsors?
Each sponsor or exhibitor has their own exhibitor page. Here you can chat, video call or leave a message via a contact form. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with them!

What device can I use to access ISBT2020?
This platform is accessible via any device that can connect to the Internet via an Internet browser; this could be your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The experience is fully responsive to any device. If you login with the same account from a different device, you pick up from where you left off. You can log in from different devices on your ISBT2020 virtual Congress account. However, note that you can only watch sessions on one device at a time.

How do I watch presentations on my mobile device?
This platform is mobile responsive and is automatically formatted to play on most mobile devices. Simply log in on your mobile device. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every mobile device as operating system requirements frequently vary.

Do I have to be online to access the platform?
Yes. ISBT2020 requires that you are online and logged in to view the content. Also note that you can only watch sessions on one device at a time.

Are there any technical requirements needed to access ISBT2020?
This platform is designed to be easily accessible for all delegates. To access the platform, you will simply need a device with audio (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) and a stable Internet connection.

In order to have the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, but other browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 11+ can also be used. However, we do not recommend Internet Explorer as some functions, such as the chat, are not fully supported.
