Introduction
The high season in Lisbon goes from May to the end of July every single year
Hotels are therefore usually pretty much occupied. To guarantee your accommodation during the ISBT Congress, please comply with the deadlines and reservation policies. Mundiconvenius (a Portuguese PCO) has been appointed the official Congress Housing Agent to handle the participants’ hotel accommodation during the ISBT Congress in Lisbon from June 18 - 22, 2011.

Reservation Policy
To guarantee your hotel accommodation, participants should make their reservations until April 16 using the official booking form at the website. Bank transfers will not be accepted. After April 16 your hotel accommodation may not be guaranteed. Reservations are exclusively accepted via the official booking at the website and will be processed on a first- come first-served basis according to preferences. The rates mentioned at the congress official website are per night / per room and include all taxes and breakfast. A two (2) night’s guarantee is required to confirm your reservation and has to be paid by credit card. Bank transfers will not be accepted. Remaining nights (as per reservation) will be paid directly to the Hotel on checking in. Invoices will also be issued by the Hotels.

Confirmation of hotel bookings
Upon reservation and payment of the two (2) nights, participants will receive a confirmation letter indicating the name and address
of the hotel. The hotel voucher will be sent to the participant 30 days prior to the opening of the congress. In case of hotel
reservations made through a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the hotel confirmation directly from that company.

Cancellation and refund policies

• No penalty until April 16, 2011 inclusive
Participants may access the website and change their reservations on line. After April 16 direct access to the hotel reservation form will not be possible.

• From April 16, 2011 to May 16, 2011
Cancellation will only be accepted if sent by fax or email. Telephone cancellations made to mundiconvenius or cancellations made directly to the hotels will not be accepted. In this case the two nights deposit for reservation will not be refunded.

• After May 16, 2011
No cancellations will be accepted and the entire booking will be charged to the participant’s credit card.

• No shows
Rooms will be released as of 09.00 hours on the first day of your booking. The hotel may charge the whole stay as per the reservation.

Name changes
After 16 April a fee of €20.00 per name change will apply.
Early arrivals and late departures
• Early arrivals are subject to hotel availability and will be processed on site.
• Late departures - check out is at 12.00 hours and one additional night will be charged for departures after that time.
