Deposit and Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit equal to one night accommodation charge per room must be received by Congress Secretariat when making the booking by a valid credit card (VISA, Master, JCB cards are accepted) in New Taiwan Dollars with 2.5% handling charge for online transaction. Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of these booking conditions. This deposit will be forwarded on your behalf by the Congress Secretariat to the relevant hotel and used to confirm your accommodation booking.
The final bill (rest of nights and extras) must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure through cash or credit card.

Early and Late Arrivals
Standard hotel check in time in Taiwan is 3:00 pm. If you will be arriving earlier than 3:00 pm and require your room upon arrival to the hotel, you will be required to book and pay for your room the night prior to ensure immediate occupancy. If you will be arriving to your hotel after 6:00pm, please advise the Congress Secretariat on your accommodation form so that your hotel can be informed.
If you do not alert the Gis Group in advance, to your late arrival, the hotel may release your reservation.

Cancellation / No Show
Due to the favorable hotel rates that have been secured, in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed reservation or failure to checkin, one night room rental would be charged for the events of cancellation after September 30, 2011 or no show. No Show is deemed to be a cancellation. All cancellations must be submitted to the Hotel directly in writing. An acknowledgement by e-mail, fax or post confirming that the cancellation has been received would be sent out by the Hotel.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions
• A tax invoice/receipt will be issued by the hotel upon check-out.
• No hotel vouchers will be needed since the congress secretariat will transfer the hotel deposit amounts to each hotel
and the deposit amounts will be deducted from the remaining hotel invoice.
• All accommodation is booked on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
• Hotel bookings will be guaranteed until September 30, 2011. After this deadline, requests will be accepted; however,
hotel accommodation is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed anymore.
• No accommodation bookings can be confirmed or guaranteed without full prepayment of deposit.
• Any amendment made on or after September 30, 2011 to each confirmed reservation, resulting in a reduced length of stay,
will incur a room charge equivalent to the full length of stay as confirmed.
• Confirmation will be sent after each reservation, modification or cancellation. You must show final confirmation letter to the front
desk of the hotel upon check-in.
• Special needs concerning the hotel rooms will be well considered but not guaranteed.
