ISBT Congresses are not only the perfect place to learn about the latest research in transfusion medicine but also the occasion to meet with peers - reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Have a look at the planned activities below:
Fun Run & Fun Walk
The legendary ISBT Fun Run is back. This 5km morning run is a fun occasion to discover Gothenburg's most famous sightseeing sites running with your fellow congress participants.
Not a runner but curious to discover this beautiful city? We got you covered with the first Fun Walk in the history of ISBT congresses - you cannot miss that! Just as exciting as the run, but lightly shorter (3km instead of 5km), you will discover the best of what Gothenburg has to offer on an interesting morning walk.
The Fun Run and Fun Walk will take place on June 20 from 7.00-8.00.
You can sign-up for the Fun Run or the Fun Walk directly when you purchase your ISBT Gothenburg ticket.
Congress party
The ISBT Congress Party will take place on June 20, 2023, at Kooperativet. There will be a shuttle departing from the congress venue to bring you to the party location. The theme of the party is Midsummer and you can expect many ABBA songs, practice your lyrics! Bring something floral to wear as it is a tradition to wear flower crowns during Midsummer celebrations in Sweden.
The ticket costs €50 per person and has to be purchased on top of the Congress registration fee. You can purchase your party ticket directly when registering for ISBT Gothenburg.
