Nominations for Board Elections 2024

Who are the ISBT Board of Directors?

The Board of Directors consists of elected members of the Society and meets at least once a year. The Board is entrusted with the corporate governance and overall management of the ISBT and sets the strategic direction of the Society. Its general and financial responsibilities are detailed in the Statutes. All permanent and ad hoc ISBT committees and working parties are appointed by the Board. The Board determines when and where international and regional congresses are to be held. The ISBT Board delegates specific management and administrative functions to the Executive Committee, who are all members of the Board. This committee in turn, works to ensure that the Society acts in accordance with Board decisions and with resolutions of the General Assembly.
