Please see the current 2022 Bylaws and Statuates below.

A proposal to update the ISBT Statutes and By Laws was accepted at the General Assembly June 7th 2022. The changes are to comply with Management and Supervision Act legal entities (‘Wet Bestuur en Toezicht Rechtspersonen’) which became effective in the Netherlands on July 1, 2021 and to faciliate the following:

  • To allow members to join with an annual ‘rolling membership’’ rather than a fixed membership year from April 1- March 31
  • To reflect updated work practices and digital communications
  • To further focus ‘’exempt membership’’ on low and middle income countries
  • To reduce the time required for a run-off elections for Board positions in the event of a tie
