The virtual congress ISBT2022 was the 37th International Congress of the ISBT held between June 4-8, 2022.
The What's new in COVID-19 session included the following presentations:
1. Franke Quee: Waning SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, a comparison of serological assays in Dutch blood donors
2. Pierre Tiberghien: COVID-19 convalescent plasma for hospitalized COVID-19 patients not requiring assisted ventilation. A randomized controlled trial.
3. Sheila F. O'Brien: SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence: The Canadian Blood Services Serosurvey January 2021 to March 2022
4. Simonetta Pupella: Introduction of Italian external quality assessment for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies screening in plasma of COVID-19 convalescent plasma donors
