For our 36th Regional Congress, we are partnering with Blood 2025!

Our joint congress will be happening in Perth, Western Australia from 26-29 October 2025. 


This is an exciting new venture for ISBT, delivering everything we expect of an ISBT regional congress, a comprehensive transfusion programme in collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT), and much more! 

Transfusion specialists will have the opportunity to expand their horizons as well as staying at the forefront of transfusion science and medicine. Haemaology and haemostasis streams within the Blood congress are also open to all delegates, giving us valuable insights on how these fields intersect with transfusion medicine to improve patient outcomes. 

Make sure to put the dates in your diary and we look forward to seeing you in Perth. Abstract submissions are open from March 3 - May 1 -  you can find more information about how to submit your abstract here. Why not submit your abstract in any of the full range of transfusion topic streams (or within haematology /haemostasis) and look forward to joining the international Blood2025-ISBT audience in Perth!

When attending the Blood 2025 and the 36th Regional Congress of the ISBT you can receive 20.5 CME points from the European Board of Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH).

How to collect your EBAH CME credits:

Visit the EBAH website EBAH | European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH)

  1. Create a CME account or log in is simple and free of cost
  2. Please inform your details to the event organizer, so they can add your EBAH-CME credit points.

 Within the EBAH-CME system, you can:

  • Print your EBAH-CME certificates.
  • Review and manage your personal account.
  • Search for accredited events based on the European Hematology Curriculum.
