Terms and Conditions – Rare Blood Provision Workshop 2025

This event is co-organised by the European Blood Alliance (EBA) and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT).

Payment

All costs are in Euros (€). Full payment is required to confirm registration. Registration is only valid once payment has been received. 
Payment options: 

  • Credit Card: Secure payment is available via the online registration platform. A receipt will be emailed after successful registration.
  • Bank Transfer: This option allows attendees to pay via bank transfer. If you choose Invoice as payment option, please first complete the booking steps and then go to My account - Order history and finalise your payment. 
  • PayPal 

Eligibility to Attend

This is a peer-only workshop intended for professionals working in blood establishments, blood services, public/non-profit healthcare institutions, and relevant national authorities. Industry representatives are not eligible to attend.

If a registration is identified as ineligible after payment:
- The registration will be cancelled.
- 50% of the registration fee will be refunded, with the remaining amount retained as an administrative charge.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by ISBT. The following conditions apply:
- Before or on August 1 2025 (23:59 CET): 90% refund
- Between August 2 and September 1 2025 (23:59 CET): 50% refund
- After September 1 2025: No refund

If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control, the registration fee will be refunded minus any costs already incurred.

Photographs and Video

The organisers reserve the right to photograph or record parts of the workshop and use this material in communication activities. By registering, you consent to such use.

Data Protection

Personal data will be processed by EBA and ISBT for registration and communication related to the event. By registering, you consent to this processing. You will be able to update your personal information by sending an email to [email protected].

Insurance & Liability

Participants are advised to arrange their own travel and health insurance. The organisers are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.

If the event is cancelled, postponed, or altered due to force majeure (e.g. extreme weather, pandemics, industrial actions), organisers will not be liable for any costs or damages incurred.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be handled by the commercial courts of The Hague, unless EBA chooses to pursue a claim in the registrant’s country of residence.
