Restaurants close to the International Barcelona Convention Centre
We’ve done the work so you don’t have to – here are 5 restaurants varying in price and cuisine close to the Convention Centre where you can kick back, relax and talk about your favourite session of the day with your peers.
1. Restaurant Pacífic
Tucked away on a side street ten minutes away from the Convention Centre, you will find Restaurant Pacífic – it may not look too boastful from the outside, but the food is homemade and authentic with the weekly menu being priced at just 13 EUR. Many recommend visiting for the array of fresh seafood and Spanish beer snacks that Pacific has to offer.
2. AÜRT Restaurant
If you’re a bonafide foodie and looking to cross another Michelin-star restaurant off your list then look no further. Aürt Restaurant is situated in the lobby of the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona hotel, a three-minute walk from the Convention Centre. Here, chef Artur Martinez’s tasting menu is ‘straight-forward but not simple’ and involves a range of different foods and tantalizing flavours. Priced at 145 EUR, it is at the higher end, but what a way to celebrate ISBT Barcelona.
3. La Marea restaurante
A 15-minute walk from the Convention Centre and close to the beach, you will come across La Marea Restaurante – famous for its grilled octopus. The menu consists of fresh seafood, fish and a range of different paella’s. La Marea Restaurante also has a set menu for groups available that is 45 EUR. To top it off, once you finish your meal, you can walk along the beach back to your hotel.
4. Maison Carne
If a good steak is more your vibe than seafood, then we’ve got you covered. Situated a little further from the Convention Centre close to the Casa Mila is Maison Carne. Decorated in the style of a traditional butcher’s shop, at Maison Carne you can find an excellent 1kg steak for around 34 EUR, it’s also possible to share between two if you don’t think you can tackle it alone.
5. Remol Restaurant
Situated a 20-minute walk away from the Convention Centre, you will stumble across Remol Restaurant where chef Rafael Medran has been cooking for almost 30 years. There is an outside terrace where you can relax and enjoy the June weather, and the menu has a diverse mix of meat, fish and seafood with prices ranging from 17 TO 24 EUR, this is a perfect place to unwind after a long day.
