The 28th International Workshop on Surveillance and Screening of Blood-borne Pathogens will be held on-site in Porto, Portugal from 21-22 September.
The annual IPFA/PEI workshop is recognised as the international leading event for discussion and assessment of all types of risks caused by infectious agents which may have an impact of the safety of blood components and plasma medicines. It addresses the detection, inactivation and epidemiology of new or old agents. The event will be valuable to all professionals with an interest in and responsibility for maintaining the safety of blood and plasma supply for patients.
