Social Events at ISBT Cape Town
ISBT Congresses are not only the perfect place to learn about the latest research in transfusion medicine but also the occasion to meet with peers - reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Have a look at the planned activities below:
Congress party
The congress party will take place on Monday, November 20, from 19:00 – 00:00 at Cabo Beach Club (12 S Arm Rd, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town). Tickets cost € 25 per person and can be purchased directly during the congress registration process.
Practical information:
Shuttles will leave as of 19:00 from the CTICC 1 Convention Square. The last shuttle to the congress party will depart at 20:00.
Return shuttles will start leaving the congress party back to the CTICC, Westin, AC Marriott Cape Town Waterfront, Protea North Warf and Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore as of 22:00. The last shuttle will depart at 00:15.
Welcome Reception
After the Opening Ceremony, join us to raise a glass during the welcome reception, which will be held in the Exhibition Hall on the ground floor. The reception will be a unique occasion for delegates to meet old friends and colleagues and make new acquaintances during the evening. This event will take place on Sunday, November 19, from 17:30 – 18:30.
