Dr Arwa Al Riyami is a Senior Consultant Hematopathologist at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, University Medical City in Oman. She is the chair of ISBT Clinical Transfusion working party and a member of the ISBT Standing Committee on Ethics. Dr. Al-Riyami is a member of the AABB Global Transfusion Forum steering committee and the Cell Therapy Section Coordinating Committee. She is a member of the WHO advisory group on Blood Regulation, Availability and Safety. Dr Al-Riyami is a board member of the Arab Transfusion Medicine Forum and the Omani Society of Haematology.

Her professional interests span hematopathology, transfusion medicine, cellular therapy, medical education and research.
 

Greg Denomme

Director of Medical Affairs , Grifols Diagnostic

Dr. Denomme is a life-long career scientist in transfusion medicine. He has post-graduate training in immunohematology, obtained a doctorate in microbiology and immunology, and completed postdoctoral fellowships in platelet immunology and pathology and molecular medicine. Dr. Denomme recently transitioned to Director of Medical Affairs at Grifols Diagnostic Solutions.
