Aim of the webinar: 

Through a series of antibody identification cases, Jan Hamilton will examine how assumptions and cognitive bias can influence laboratory decision-making. Participants will be able to review the investigation process, identify where errors occurred, and discuss evidence-based approaches to improve antibody identification and problem-solving in routine practice.

What prior knowledge is required?

Participants should be familiar with the principles of antibody screening and identification and have practical experience interpreting antibody panels in a transfusion laboratory.
