The Speaker
Dr Sulem YN Ingrid Worti
Dr Sulem Yong Nana I.W, is an early career physician hematologist at the Yaoundé University Teaching Hospital and an assistant lecturer of blood transfusion at the Catholic University of Central Africa. She is equally the founding president of the Haema care cooperation, a non profit organisation focussing on health care, education,advocacy and research to improve access to blood care in Cameroon. She has research experience in blood safety in which domain she has published several articles. She is a 2025 laureate of the prestigious Jean Jacque Lefrere prize in transfusion medicines for French Speaking Africa
