Aim of the webinar: 

Conventional practice has been to store platelets at room temperature, but laboratory evidence and previous experience have demonstrated that storing platelets in the cold might be beneficial to patients with active bleeding. Join this webinar to learn more about the biology of cold stored platelets and be one of the first to hear the results of the recently completed CHIPS study where cold stored platelets were administered to patients undergoing complex cardiac surgery.
