Clinical Apheresis

This Academy Day session was held on June 21, 2026, during the 39th International ISBT Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The  Clinical Apheresis session included the following presentations:

1. Soumya Das: Expanding horizons in therapeutic apheresis: emerging and evolving indications
2. Laura Visser: Apheresis in pediatric patients: clinical and technical management strategies
3. Arwa Al-Riyami: CAR-T cell therapy: from leukapheresis to precision immunotherapy

Fun fact: during the Academy Day sessions in Kuala Lumpur, experienced moderators were matched with young professionals to let them practice moderating in a supportive setting.
