During the he Ethical dilemmas in blood donation - Challenges and controversies in collecting sufficient safe blood - Debate there were no presentations given. The hosts discussed the following ethical dilemmas: 

1. Providing blood donors with a gift or token of appreciation can be an effective means of recruitment and retention.
2. Adjusting the frequency between donations should be considered when there is a blood shortage.
3. Cost should be the only factor blood providers consider when choosing how to provide platelet products.
