Ming-Li Chou

Ming-Li Chou

Post-doc (MSCA Fellow) in Neuroimmunology, Neurodegeneration Team, Lille Neuroscience and Cognition Center, France

Ming-Li Chou is a researcher specializing in platelet-based therapies for neurological diseases. During her dual PhD at Taipei Medical University (Prof. Thierry Burnouf) and Lille University (Prof. David Devos), she co-developed novel platelet lysate and extracellular vesicle (EV) biotherapies, focusing on treating Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders via brain administration. Currently, as an MSCA postdoctoral fellow at the Lille Neuroscience and Cognition Center in France, she explores neuroimmunology and regenerative medicine, particularly the roles of T cells and neutrophils in neurodegeneration. She has several peer-reviewed publications and 3 patent families on platelet lysate therapies for neurodegenerative diseases demonstrating her capacity in translating research into clinical potential.

Silvia Monsalvo

Silvia Monsalvo

Silvia Monsalvo, MD, is a Consultant Hematologist with a Master’s degree in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. She is currently a staff physician at the Transfusion Service, Non-Transfusional Hemotherapy Unit, Therapeutic Apheresis Unit, and Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Collection Unit at Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro-Majadahonda (Madrid, Spain). She currently serves as Treasurer of the European Society for Hemapheresis (ESFH) and Secretary of the Spanish Group of Apheresis (GEA). She has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and serves as a reviewer for Transfusion and Apheresis Science and Vox Sanguinis.
