The UK infected blood inquiry report was published in May 2024. The report is about the transmission of infection by blood transfusion to thousands of patients between 1970 and 1990.

The problem of infected blood transfusion occurred in many other countries . The NHS Blood and Transfusion conducted an extensive investigation after gaining evidence from patients , clinicians , transfusion services , healthcare officials, and politicians . There are lots of lessons to be learnt from this extensive inquiry for the blood world. Eminent clinician from NHSBT will discuss the impact and lessons to be learnt from this report.
