Aim of the webinar:

Learn from recent experience as our industry navigates the transition to non-DEHP-PVC blood bag systems. Covering red blood cell in vitro quality in non-DEHP bags, describing practical experience with use of non-DEHP blood bag systems, and examining clinical efficacy and hemovigilance data, this webinar will provide attendees with practical insights to guide their transition plans.

Highlights

Improve understanding of how the RBC membrane behaves in the absence of DEHP, including when subjected to cumulative stresses such as irradiation.

Explore how in vitro findings translate to in vivo outcomes and clinical evaluation.

Level of education required:

3 - intermediate (practical application)
